Model Release Agreement

Effective as of [Release Date] and in connection with the project titled [Project Name], I, [Model Full Legal Name], for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, grant to [Creator or Company Legal Name] (Individual), together with its affiliates, successors, assigns, licensees, advertising agencies, production partners, and authorized media outlets, the irrevocable right to photograph, film, record, and otherwise capture my image, likeness, voice, performance, name, biographical information, and social media handle, and to use, reproduce, display, perform, publish, transmit, distribute, and otherwise exploit the resulting photographs, video, audio, and other recordings, in whole or in part, in any and all media now known or later developed, worldwide and in perpetuity, for editorial, commercial, advertising, publicity, promotional, and internal purposes.

I authorize editing, adaptation, cropping, resizing, captioning, subtitling, translation, compression, formatting, color correction, background replacement, and other technical or creative modifications, including combination with other content and the creation of derivative works, provided that the use is not misleading about my personal endorsement of a product or service unless I have agreed to endorse that product or service in a separate agreement. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished content or any accompanying text.

I release and hold harmless [Creator or Company Legal Name] and its permitted users from any and all claims and liabilities arising out of the permitted uses described above, including claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, or moral rights, except to the extent caused by willful misconduct or violation of law. Nothing in this release requires [Creator or Company Legal Name] to use the content.

This release is voluntary and unpaid.

I represent that I am not subject to any agreement or restriction that would prevent the grant of rights in this release, and that any statements or materials I provide are truthful and lawful. I understand that [Creator or Company Legal Name] or its photographer or producer will own the photographs, recordings, and other materials created in connection with the project, including all associated copyrights and related rights, subject to any separate written agreement that states otherwise.

This release is governed by the laws of [Governing Law State], without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any dispute arising under or relating to this release will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [Venue County], [Governing Law State], subject to any non-waivable venue requirements. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning its subject matter and may be signed electronically and in counterparts, each of which is deemed an original, and together they form one instrument.

By signing below, each party acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this release.
